Trail is in good shape, but things are were pretty wet. Did the loop clockwise, up the North fork and down the South fork of the Hancock Loop trail. Definitely steep. Good views from the lookout point on North Hancock. The traverse between the summits is really nice. Temperatures were mid-60s in the early morning, but very humid. Very surprised that bugs were not really an issue. Saw maybe 6 people on the trail and a couple more in the parking lot. |
