I was able to drive all the way to the Lower Manning Trailhead in a small car. No cars mid morning; pulloff full with four cars mid-afternoon. |

Lower Manning has a sign posted about a bee's nest in the ground on the trail, between the falls and the second crossing. I rock hopped in the low river for a bit to stay clear of this. |

Figure 8 loop with a random out/back up Old Dicey Rd. to the Elwell junction. Upper Holt, was totally dry, which made for good conditions albeit very hot. |
