We had 2 in our group. Surprisingly a lot of water spots on 1st 3rd & last 3rd |
|
| Bugs: |
Black Flies out bothersome not biting to Cabot. Swarming on summit absolutely brutal until Horn. Then biting on Horn...great views but they were merciless. 1st time using bug net...saw no one else using one but thankful to have it. |

Hazy hot humid day. No breeze but still a great day. Black Flies are out bring bug juice. Surprised at how few were out today. Encountered only 3 groups heading up. maybe 8 people total heading down. Cabin was crowded we kept going saw no one until coming off The Horn. Then maybe 6 total on way out. Nice views from Bunnell Rock & The Horn. Great Loop hike.
Congrats to Kevin #48!!! Well Done!! |
