7-10 cars in the lot at 7:30 a.m. Upon return at 11 a.m., lot was full with cars parked down side of road for quite a distance. |

Saw many folk out with their dogs, a 4 month old Lab, an australian cattle dog and a host of others. All well-behaved. |

| Comments: |
Many people out on the trail today. Almost none wore masks and many on the summit were not practicing social distancing. Hike was very hot and humid until hitting the tree lone above the Skyland trail junction. The breeze was really nice from that point to the summit. Summit stay was cut short by the sight of rain in the distance and the sound of thunder. |
