| Comments: |
Beautiful, warm day (88 base, 68 summit). Great 360 degree views from both summits. Don't be fooled by the false South Kinsman summit. The real one is about 300' away with a cairn that has a built in stone seat.
There were at least 15 people having a pool party in Lonesome lake. Good day for it.
As with most other shelters/huts, Lonesome Lake hut is closed (COVID-19) so be sure to bring enough water or tablets/pump. |
