Comments
Comments: Hot, hot, hot, but I started early to avoid the worst of it. I did this loop counter-clockwise and didn't encounter anyone until the ranger cabin. Plenty of room to spread out on the summit, but for physical distancing's sake, I took the old Jeep road all the way down, bypassing most of West Ridge Trail, which was becoming busier by late morning.

We definitely need rain! Everything is parched aside from the usual mud pit by the old fire warden's garage. A nice breeze made it fairly comfortable and cool at the summit.
