South Moat Mountain, Potash Mountain
Moat Mountain Trail, Mt Potash Trail
Today was a two-fer: hike up South Moat to Middle Moat (netting that trail for my redline) and then hop in the car, and zoom over to UNH trailhead for a hike up Potash Mountain. It was a fine day out. Views were superlative -- it was a rare day when Mt Washington didn't wear a hat. How often does that happen?! Views in all other directions... it was a "curve of the earth" day today. Yep, there was a bit of haze, but somehow, even that didn't seem too bad.
Pics and a detailed write-up are on my blog. |
