We hiked up Goodhue Hill Road for about .5 miles. After entering and proceeding through the grassy area (Old Log Landing area??) we descended slightly and crossed a brook that must have had a bridge over it long ago. Just beyond, we headed off to the right on an ATV trail that turned into old logging roads toward the peak. We followed these as long as they were going toward the peak. About .3 from the peak they turned east so we began a whack straight to the peak in open woods and areas of fern and low raspberry growth. Found the recognized high point and signed in. We returned pretty much on the same track using the logging roads out to Goodhue Hill Road. |
