Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns on Avalon, a cluster of 6 on Willey Range Trail below Field, crawl under, duck under, step overs south of the large cleared blowdown areas. The Willey Range south of Field needs brushing as trail corridor width in many places is less than one foot. When one considers how slowly spruce and fir grow, it clearly has been a great while. A tangled cluster of blowdowns on Tom summit blocking the trail with a heard path around them. On a more positive note, kudos to the trail croo that has done fantastic work on the A-Z Trail beyond the Avalon junction at the first stream crossing, rock work, benching, etc.

Comments
Comments: Mud areas were mostly dry. Encountered over two dozen folks, all social distancing as much as the trail width permitted. Great day to be out.
