Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Pemi East Side Trail: Nothing noteworthy. Cedar Brook was rock hoppable. Pine Island Trail: Two major crossings. Thigh/hip deep in spots and swift. Needed trekking pole/stick for stability. Wilderness Trail: Nothing noteworthy (we only did the west section up to Thoreau Falls Tr) Thoreau Falls Trail: Checked out the crossing there... definitely doable at the time even with dog. Cedar Brook Trail: All rock hoppable. Hancock Notch Trail: Most rock hoppable. We switched to crocs for Sawyer River crossing (at washout), but maybe could've done a creative rock hop. Sawyer Pond Trail: Rock hoppable except for Swift River (ankle deep ford)
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Too many blowdowns on most of these trails to keep track of! Nothing that was notably hard to go around/under/over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dog made it through! The two crossings on the Pine Island Trail were too deep/swift for him, though, so I had to leave him on Pemi East Side (with fiancee).
Bugs
Bugs: thankful for a cooler weekend that kept the bugs at bay. still, we kept our bug nets handy and bug sprayed our legs.

Comments
Comments: Lovely traverse from Lincoln Woods to Sawyer Pond Trailhead! Hancock Notch Tr east of the jcn with Cedar Brook Tr was the only real wild & rough section, which I personally thought was fun... but that's just me. Really not too much water/mud on any of the trails... majority of it was hoppable with some agility. Fully prepared myself for some river crossing along the way to be too much for doggo and have to turn around... especially after Pine Island crossings... so I was pleasantly surprised when we successfully made it the whole way!
