 | Water Crossing Notes: |
First water crossing is high but crossable by jumping on rocks. Rest of the water crossings are easy. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple blow downs throughout the trail, most easy to avoid. One blowdown you have to go over/under, I went over. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Glad I didn't bring my dog, trail too steep for a dog to come down. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Bugs were there but not bothering me. |

 | Comments: |
The first 1.5 miles of this trail are VERY unforgiving. It is straight up like a staircase. After that, the rest of the trail is mild uphill. The trail walks along a waterfall which I used to cool myself down a couple times on the way up. Trail in good condition. Not marked with blazes very well but I had an easy time following the trail anyway. I wouldn't recommend doing this trail after it rains as there was a lot of mud and the rocks will get very slippery. Gorgeous hike, but killer on the legs/knees! |
