Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings easily done. Barely a trickle in the brook.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in excellent shape. Thanks for the SLA for doing such a great job.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: A fine hike for a fit dog.
Bugs
Bugs: I forgot my bug spray but luckily I didn't need any! The woods are dry and the stiff breeze kept the bugs away.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: not a thing.

Comments
Comments: I hiked the Doublehead trail up to the ledges just below the Crawford-Ridgepole Trail. The best view is from here. East and West Doublehead are accessed from the C-R trail and are both rather underwhelming. Some nice views to the North from East Peak. But enjoy your lunch and the view from the ledges.
