Dog-Related Notes: Enough water for Hank Williams. Lots of friendly people out today complimenting Hank on his side of the trail “stay”.

Bugs: None! Cold and in the clouds today, breezy above treeline. I’ll take a socked in summit over bugs any time.

Comments: Lovely cold day to be out. Didn’t set out to summit Monroe but figured since i had the time, layers and hat and mittens why not? Lots of friendly people out today. Many thanks to the lady who gave me ibuprofen on the way down. Lots of alpine flowers blooming.
