| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked in cannons actual lot since the “hiker†lot was full of construction vehicles. I was one of a handful of cars at 8. When I returned around 11 the entire place was FULL. Not a single open spot I couldn’t believe it!! (I don’t hike on weekends and this is why) |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Pretty low water levels and less running water on the slab areas than previous times I’ve been on this trail |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Great shape minus the erosion occurring lower down but that’s nothing new |
|

| Comments: |
Hardly saw anyone on the way up, passed literally a million people as I was descending and was constantly stopping to allow people to pass which was a little irritating after awhile but it’s my fault for hiking on a weekend. Met a few very nice folks early on who were happy to see me since they hadn’t seen anyone else. The trail is in good shape with minimal trash (toilet paper) on the trails which is a rare and lovely sight because that shit is all over the whites usually. I love this trail even though that ascent will kick your butt no matter how athletic you are |
