Parking/Access Road Notes: 6-8 cars at 6am and loads of cars ay noon!

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: easy to cross on rocks. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: several stepovers and a duck under that were no problem. the first mile or so has some tough mud spots, but not too tough to get around.

Dog-Related Notes: saw only 5 dogs, but a whopping 100 plus hikers. it was bedlam!

Comments: nice day overall and i'm now 1/2 way to finishing the 48 at 70+. lots of people out having a good time, but it did get kinda nutty at times. lots of folks under 30. good views from the tower but the big guys were in the clouds. no snow anywhere!
