| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Livermore South lot at Waterville had about 6 cars in it at 0800. Us and one other upon return ~1600. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All rock hops, very low levels. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blow downs between peaks, but all are duck unders. A couple small things on the east/south leg of Tripyramid, with one larger one about 3 feet off the ground all the way across trail. Nothing to worry about though. Also some very deteriorated and broken/missing bog bridges on the south leg of Tripyramid. Wasn't an issue today because things are pretty dry, but would suck in muddy/wet conditions. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw only one on Livermore. Would not advise this route for pups because the slides would be difficult at best (especially North Slide) and there's basically zero water after the Livermore/Tripyramid junction. |
| Bugs: |
Black flies were horrendous, especially on the North slide in the sun. Made things much more interesting/annoying. |
| Lost and Found: |
A fair amount of trash. |

| Comments: |
Livermore is, well, Livermore...it's a road. The north slide was slick in the bottom 0.1 miles or so due to the rain on Thursday and not yet being in the sun. Other than that, getting up the slide was very doable, if slow (especially with my 10 YO son). On the ridge, there were some muddy areas but nothing to write home about. South slide had some looser rocks than normal I think due to the rains washing things out. Really great day to be out, especially since we only saw a total of maybe 9 other people. Views were fantastic all around. |
