| Comments: |
Beautiful day for the Carters-After ascending to Carter Dome I encountered about 500 feet of mostly solid monorail of varying width which was able to walk on or around depending. There was approximately another 500 feet of avoidable degrading monorail after that. The rest of the hike for the most part was snow free. The North Carter Trail down to the Imp trail has a few blowdowns and in desperate need of brushing. I met 8 other hikers 1 of which was finishing his 48. Congratulations!!! |
