Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Only two other cars at the depot lot when I left. I had planned to park in the Jackson lots originally but it was full of construction vehicles and workers so for awhile it looks like the depot will be the place to park for Jackson/TFW
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Walked up trail only a handful of feet at both larger crossings to get to a better spot to rock hop
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several slightly annoying blowdowns mostly on Willey range trail that were the awkward length of “do I go under or over” but still manageable
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only my two dogs out on the trails today
Bugs
Bugs: No bugs :)
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A random perfectly folded blanket right on the trail sitting on a blowdowns near the summit of Tom. No other hikers I talked to said it was there’s so I’m not sure what was up with that

Comments
Comments: Great day to hike TFW. Spent most of the day in the clouds with rainy/misty cool weather. Met several very friendly fellow hikers who I really enjoyed talking to. Thanks to all the love from everyone towards my dogs they have several fans out there and I love it haha. I’ve never hiked the Avalon or AZ trail without snow so it was cool to see what the trail is really like, I really enjoyed it. The Willey range trail was beautiful with a little bit of everything out there
