 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings are fine. Stepping stones are ample, and pretty dry at this point. Still ample water flowing so you can top off your supply. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was in great shape. No blow-downs. Blazes could use refreshing -- they seemed a bit sparse in more than a few places. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
One very happy dog on the trail, having her best day out. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Black flies and mosquitoes are utterly homicidal. Use bug juice, or you're a walking buffet table. |

 | Comments: |
It was a good outing. Moat has lovely views from the top -- it certainly earned its spot on the 52 with a view list. Photos took themselves all day long, just one after another, with no seeming end in sight.
Details and a stack of photos are on my blog. |
