 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I cleared blowdowns for several hours. There's still a couple widowmakers; they're hung up real good, so I didn't mess with them. I've read on this board that hungup widowmakers are the most dangerous blowdowns, and I've taken a couple down myself, and I have to agree.
If you are into crafts, one of those blowdowns was loaded with small pine cones that were quite attractive, like an arrangement. I saved those branches and left them by the trail, it's about a mile up. I used some of them to block the former path around the blow down, can't miss them. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw two little cuties, having a ball. Need to bring water, trail is pretty dry. |
|
 | Bugs: |
I didn't have any bug problems, but I think the stiff breeze kept them at bay, cause I know they're there. No ticks. |
