| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lot was full and overflowing at noon when I arrived |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Just a couple at the start, easy. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few easy over or under blowdowns . Seems a bit rougher than I remember (erosion) |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Most of the folks I met had dogs and they all did fine. No water source past the streams right at the bottom of the trail. Met a big beautiful Irish Wolfhound near the top. My beagle Mork has over come his fear of stream crossings including crossing on the log on the second one. |

| Bugs: |
Substantial in the parking lot not too many once on the trail |

| Comments: |
From the Tripoli Road side
Quite a workout as I’m just starting to get back out there. Nice temps and a good breeze that helped with the bug situation. Tripoli Road in good shape but closed on the WV end. |
