I was surprised at how well-maintained the trail is, with evidence of people clearing numerous blowdowns. There are still a few between the North and South peaks. |

| Comments: |
Excellent weather today, and a light wind kept the black fly and mosquito Air Force's grounded. The majority of the trail is very well-maintained, although any issues appear near the summits. There is some mud, and a few blowdowns between the peaks, but nothing significant. I would advise caution on descending the mountains though, as there is quite a bit of loose rock and gravel on the steeper parts of the trail. I had ascended the North peak, and descended the South, noticing more of this loose rock on the South trail. Great day to be outside. |
