Dry Trail |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
There are 10 water crossings on this trail and parts of the trail go up a stream bed. Not to be attempted during high water! Today all were hop-able and stayed dry. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of smaller blow downs on this little used approach but all were easily walked around, over, or through. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I brought my one year old lab who loved this water-filled route. Stream was full up to 3500 ft! |
|
 | Bugs: |
Only noticeable in the parking lot. |

 | Comments: |
At 12.1 miles RT this is not a route most people take to Whiteface. However I was rewarded with a very gradual approach and zero other hikers encountered until I got to the top. Highly recommended slightly longer approach from the north. Follows the brook almost the entire way. |
