Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at 2 locations, once at Gunstock Ski Resort, and once on Jesus Valley Road at Old Stage Road. No problem at either one. Lots of room on this day. We noticed at the Mt. Major parking area as we drove by that the lot there was completely full and there were dozens of cars parked on the highway. (this was on a Monday, late morning). But when we got to Jesus Valley Road, another decent access to Mt. Major, there was just 1 other car.

Comments: Ridge Trail, Spur Trail, Jesus Valley-Beaver Pond Trail, Straighback Mountain Trail, Belknap Range Trail

Last day of redlining the Belknaps. Got it done. Thanks to Lone Wolf. We had 2 areas to mop up, Ridge trail from Gunstock Ski Resort to the summit of Mt. Rowe and part of Jesus Valley-Beaver Pond Trail, and part of Straightback Mtn Trail.
Ascending we met Steve on the Ridge Trail road bypass trail working on the trail he built 3 years ago. His BTTR (better than the road) Trail is certainly better than the cell phone tower access road, (the official trail). But we descended on the road just to complete the official redlining trail.
