| Water Crossing Notes: |
Both water crossings were high. I just taped my waterproof boots at the top together with my waterproof pants with duct tape under my waterproof gaiters and just walked across. It worked. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I took down two head bangers. The trail is pretty much blow-down free except for a couple of old step overs. |

| Comments: |
Trail mostly dry with the usual muddy sections down low. The snow and ice didn't start until about half way up the sloping traverse. From there it was packed snow and ice. Some light traction is needed. I used my micro-spikes and they worked great. Snowshoes not needed. Beautiful warm sunny day with no wind on the ridge but a cool breeze on the platform. I had the trail and mountain to myself today. |
