Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Holy Moly I totally stress about water crossings and there is one at the beginning that was running high. I saw some people getting over by serious rock hopping; I opted to just get my sandals on and not worry about getting wet or slipping and getting completely wet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: You know those blowdowns that are awkward to go over but also awkward to go under- yeah, a few of those.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few pups- how in the world they make it up and down is crazy on wooden steps. They are superpups.
Bugs
Bugs: Pretty windy so mainly kept at bay.

Comments
Comments: An intense water crossing at the beginning and then up and up! Windy and overcast. Trail is all the things a spring trail is but no traction needed! Saw about 6 people on the trail yesterday and so very lucky when I finally got to Wildcat the sky opened up to a really nice view. Going down I decided to go down the ski trails- the black diamond slopes because it will be the only time I can say I was on them :-). Wow, those are steep!
