bare booted up Polecat to Wildcat D, then we used microspikes all the way to 19 Mile Brook Trail. Many bare sections but also some tricky ice on some of the steep sections and monorail in many other places. Very glad to have the traction. We carried snowshoes but they were not useful because of the constantly changing conditions. |
