| Comments: |
Got started just before 7:00am, overcast with breaks of sun. Lower portion of trail wet but in decent shape. Monorail on upper Ammo provides the usual challenges--bring traction. Cloud cover became overwhelming(partially cloudy/sunny predicted)and higher than expected wind prevented ascent of Washington and planned descent down Jewell. Trip turned into out and back on Ammo. Met 10 other hikers during descent. Still, a cloudy day on the trail is a good day. |
