No real snow ice to speak of until 2 - 2.5 miles into the Falling Waters Trail, from there until the summit of Little Haystack there are remnants of monorail, but ample trail aournd it to side step for the most part. One or two spots would have been quicker with traction, but not absolutely necessary. I brought microspikes but never felt the need to put them on.
Old Bridal Path and the Ridge are completely snow-free as far as I could tell. |
