Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

First crossing rock hoppable. Second crossing running high - stepping stones submerged - boots will get wet. |

Chopped out a blowdown between crossings 2 and 3. |

Some black flies, not too bad. |

| Comments: |
Short trip up to chop a stepover blowdown on lower portion of Mt. Tecumseh Trail. I suspect the upper 3/4 mile of the trail still has lingering monorail and ice - would recommend carrying light traction. Lower portion of trail has trout lily, bellwort, trillium, and hobblebush in bloom. |
