|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All minor, easily crossed by rock hopping |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns up high, easily walked around |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
My pup loved it. She's older, mid-sized and had one scramble just before getting above treeline. I expect a younger pup would have no difficulty. |

| Bugs: |
None anywhere at the start, a few on descent in the afternoon - no bites yet, no bugspray |

| Comments: |
Trail is in great shape aside from a couple bigger blowdowns that can be walked around. There were a few muddy areas that are mostly avoidable and higher up, a melting monorail in places with walkable trail on either side (no traction needed.) No snow above treeline that we saw; all walking up there was dry and easy. Views were great today, despite patchy cloudcover, and the alpine flowers are just about to bloom. Be sure to carry warm layers in your pack bc the summit is still cold. Overall: gorgeous spring hike with almost no bugs. |
