Date of Hike: Monday, June 1, 2020
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking, not many cars.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All bridged or dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Davis Path is bone dry to the Crawford Spur. After that, there are some sections of mud, but nothing too bad. Lots of step over blow down until the Mt Parker Trail junction. The yellow markings on the ledges of Mt Parker are badly faded and need repainting. The cairns in those areas are invaluable. Nice rock work (steps) on lower sections of the Davis Path. The ledges on the upper reaches could use some blazing.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Thankfully only one poorly behaved dog. The only one I saw.
Bugs
Bugs: High winds and cold, along with the little bit of snow kept them away. Saw not a one.

Comments
Comments: Davis Path, Mt Crawford Spur, Mt Parker Trail (out and back from Davis Path lot)

Great hike under rather cold and windy conditions. The only really wet and slippery sections were on the Mt Parker Trail from the junction with the Davis Path to the summit of Resolution.
