| Water Crossing Notes: |
I'm very nimble- have hiked this trail numerous times without ever getting my feet wet. There's a first time for everything. The water is still gushing, and the small water crossing on the way down from Lafayette to Greenleaf Hut was deep enough that my shoes soaked through. I'll wear my waterproof shoes next time |

| Comments: |
Perfect day up in the Whites!! A significant portion of the upper trails is still snow/ice monorail. I was very happy to have packed my micro spikes. Traveling up falling waters trail, the monorail is pretty consistent; not so much on the way down Old Bridle- it was on/off with the micro spikes a few too many times. The Ridge Trail is clear. |
