Comments
Comments: Party of 7 humans + 3 dogs. Ascended by Jewel Trail to Gulfside. Some snow still left higher up on Jewel, slushy, but bareboot was doable. Gulfside was bare ground. Descended via Caps Ridge, maybe this was a bad move in retrospect. The rain held off till we were off the ledges. Still some snow but not much. The blowdowns were incessant and difficult. Some of them I seem to remember from Dec. when I last used this route. The road was a 3 mile walk out from trailhead. It was OK.
