Great little trail system. Wandered all over the place checking out Eagle Rock and the different viewpoints from the ridge trail. Great view of Monadnock from the south outlook (down past the communication towers) Followed the old cemetery trail for a bit but never found the actual cemetery. Did see the old ski lift area with rope and pulley system.
On my way out (Lehmann trail near East Face....either a hawk or falcon landed in the tree above me and let out a screech....so, not sure if there’s a nest nearby but I kept moving) |
