Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No major issues- the trails were well taken care of.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Got one of the last spots in the dirt parking area off NH route 171, almost across from Sodom Rd, at around 7:30 AM. When we finished the hike around 1 PM, the parking area was completely full and at least 10-20 cars were parked roadside.
Bugs
Bugs: Not bad on the hike up or down, but moderately annoying on the tops of both Black Snout and Mt. Shaw.

Comments
Comments: Aside from a few minor patches of mud, all the trails were bone dry and in good shape. Didn't see anyone from the start of the hike to Black Snout, and only one other person (with dog in tow) from there to Mt. Shaw. Once we got to the top of Mt. Shaw, more hikers started rolling in, and when we started hiking down, the summit and the trails were getting pretty busy. Social distancing wasn't an issue, especially because of the wide with of the trails and open woods down low.

Thanks to Riley P. for a fun hike!
