I had not been on most of these trails and after reading the black hill report by Lady B and Italian I decided to redo the mountain. I went up from mt. kineo tr. from where the trail is very close to brown brook. the woods was pretty good and I avoided the ledges. it was a bit steep and didn't take too long to hit the summit area where the orange jar was found with relative ease. my previous trip led to a jar but must have been on the wrong bump. thanks guys for your report. overall it was a good hike after laying low for 2 months.
