| Comments: |
Webster Jackson Tr from 302 had early patches of slippery ice on the trail, with more consistent snow/ice at the split. Spikes on from this point. Up to Jackson first. Webster Cliff Tr from the summit was rocky and steep and needed some careful steps with all the ice and wet rock. Trail between Jackson and Webster was 4-5' deep still, post-holing issues at times if you step off the monorail, but was only 1-2 times for me, so the shoes stayed on the pack. The trail down from Webster until it met up with Webster-jackson trail was steep at times, icy. Required slow and steady descent, grateful for poles, especially the trail before and after the waterfall/water crossing. |
