Great day out on the trail today. No snow until around 2600 ft. Only used spikes as the monorail was still great. Might soften up and need snowshoes soon though. Water level and height significantly raised when heading back in the afternoon vs morning. Spent time in the sun just enjoying the weather for a few hours by the hut. Didn’t see any other hikers all day. Moose presence is high but didn’t see any but did see fresh tracks in the mud on the way back that hadn’t been there before |
