Originally started out to hike just Wildcat A but on the ascent I found there to be an insane amount of side slabbing to get to the summit. I decided to walk the whole ridge and enjoy the day. The trail over to Wildcat D is broken out but getting soft in the heat. The Ski trail down is still about eighty percent covered in snow. Barebooted 19MBT until about 3k feet then micros until WRT and used snowshoes for duration of hike until bare ground on ski slope. It was nice chatting at a distance with another hiker on the ski slope. |
