Comments
Comments: Mostly dry trail, then some avoidable monorail (you can walk alongside), then serious monorail at about 3000'. After slabbing along "misery mile," and starting the switchbacks, snow cover more general, and mostly stable. Snow shoes carried but never used.

Light traction did the trick on all the monorail, to the summit and back. Descending was trickier, due to warming of said monorail, allowing for some spectacular post holing adding to the assortment of existing post holes. Snow shoes would have been tricky, too, due to narrowness of the monorail....sigh....spring hiking!
