Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The first one is right at the start and is high- you can cross on the bridge if you don't want to risk it and there is a trail back to main trail. At the end of the hike off Drakes Brook Trail is also high and you can just walk it mid-calf (which I did) or find a way to stay dry which I saw some people doing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several blow-downs you can get around. Trail is not marked well but generally easy to follow.

Comments
Comments: I should have taken someone elses advice and just gone to the bridge for the first water crossing (did the loop counter clockwise) and instead I got my first dunk in a water crossing which resulted in losing one of my poles .2 mile in. The few people I ran into on the trail either took the bridge to get over or made it just fine.

Beautiful day and view. Traction was a must once you got higher on the trail. Minus my water mishap- this is one of my most favorite hikes now! Stunning.
