| Comments: |
Started early. Put on microspikes just past the split on the Webster-Jackson trail. Wen't up Jackson. No issues with the spikes. Stable monorail. Snow was pretty soft between Jackson and Pierce but again staying on the monorail with spikes caused no issues. Later in the morning we opted to bareboot heading back to Jackson from Pierce. Snow was soft but monorail was still stable. Harder to navigate from Jackson to Webster but still manageable without spikes. Coming down from Webster early afternoon was tricky but minor ice patches were avoidable. All in all great trail conditions for this time of year. |
