Muddy in some spots on the way up, but avoidable. Past the cabin there was still some ice and snow, can’t imagine it will last much longer and it was avoidable. I didn’t do the loop but I passed a couple who said they tried going up and around. However, the backside was covered in snow and ice (they had no traction so they turned back) I had no interest in messing around back there so I retraced my steps. Hit the trail at 12 done by 3 and I saw about 8 people. |
