| Comments: |
No snow or ice through the hardwoods, mostly dry ground with a few muddy sections - some significant. Icy monorail begins almost immediately after entering the evergreens. From the time the monorail begins, it is virtually continuous all the way to the peak of Mt. Waumbec and beyond. Varies between mostly ice lower down, to mostly snow at higher elevations. Carried snowshoes, but no need for them at any point all day. |
