 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty at the Flume Visitor Center by the entrance to the bike path. It was nearly empty this morning and pretty full upon my return. The state police were doing a drive by as I was leaving. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All step overs or bridged. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail seems to be getting wider and people have cut their own trail around tricky spots. Also be aware that with Social Distancing, people are moving off trail and making the existing trail wider. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Pretty straight forward for dogs. There is water available on this one but, in the drier months, bring extra. |
 | Bugs: |
Too damp and chilly today. |
 | Lost and Found: |
One hat about a mile up on a branch. Left it there as I’m not too keen on touching things right now. |

 | Comments: |
This was a much needed sanity restoring hike for me. Mt Pemi is a pretty straight forward 1.5 miles out and back. Today, there was no view on the summit ledge but, it didn’t matter to me. Everyone hiking up as I was coming down was pretty respectful. If you are looking for a snow free and ice free hike, this is a good one right now. |
