Comments
Comments: Warm day hiking with no wind and plenty of sun. Avalon trail snow free to AtoZ junction by afternoon. Pointy monorail made it difficult in places. Monorail was mostly stable in the morning but quickly becoming unstable as the day warmed up. Barebooted and used microspikes all day. Snowshoes can along for the ride but were not useful on the narrow monorail.
