Comments
Comments: Snow started at 3000'. Microspikes were great for traction but we saw no one else with them. The trails are all full of postholes but the snow isn't that deep anymore. There is almost a trail packed out next to the monorail in a lot of places. Summits are all bare rock.

From above treeline to the south side of Little Haystack the ground is bare. On the way to Liberty ther is still a lot of snow on the trail, the most we saw on the hike. Used microspikes here and also between Liberty and Flume. Snowshoes would not have been a good option. Can't get much better conditions for an "above tree line" hike. no wind and lots of sun.
