Comments
Comments: Osseo was dry until the sharp right turn at I think 2000’. Snowy from then on. Solid monorail j til the treacherous snow laden wooden stairs. I saw just a small patch of wood at one point. We go to the “downlook” sign and looked up at the final push and thought microspikes wouldn’t cut it. Or at least wouldn’t be a smart move. Time for me to invest in trail crampons. Hank Williams would have been fine. He’s like a little mountain goat. 4 boys with no traction at all also turned back at this point. I thought poles were also supremely useful. I heard one prepared hiker did just fine.

Nice to chat with Priscilla and Chris in the parking lot.
