Comments
Comments: Excellent hike up and back. The trail had a fresh dusting of snow and was covering up a melting icy monorail that began at approximately 2400 ft. I was able to use micros for the entire hike from this point. The ice is softening just enough for spikes to bite in for great traction. After breaking from trees on final ascent its mostly bare rock and once on ridge back to monorail. Snowshoes along for the ride. I met eleven hikers and socially distanced the best I could.
